Original ideas for thrillers PT2

 ORIGINAL LIST FOR THRILLER IDEAS:

1. Kidnapping with a knife or weapon of some sort
2. Strange events leading up to something- could be several murders and we don't know who it is
3. Someone thinks they are guilty but they are not
4. Someone witnesses a murder but before they say who the murderer is they get killed
5. Power outage in a home then out of no where there is a psychopath
6. You are a therapist and patient explains her past the camera enters her mind with black and white
7. You live alone and every morning you wake up and something is different 
8. The film starts off with someone running in the dark forest they forget why running cause dementia
9. You live alone and get a text from random number and its a photo of you

For our thriller "READY OR NOT" we decided to go for a mix between number 9 and number 1. 

We are doing a mix between a girl home alone cooking and gets a random text from random number of a photo of her cooking. We will mix this idea with a kidnapping at the end. A knife will be the main weapon used in our thriller. 

Overall we decided to use these ideas mixed together to bring in some mystery which adds to the thriller and suspense. The intruder named Richard AKA the night stalker face will never been seen which connotes to the lighting and mood as we will be shooting at night time. 

Overall these 2 ideas mix together well and bring in the conventions of a weapon, action and bad guy.

Some ideas we have for this preliminary task 2 with this idea we choose are for the intruders face to not be seen. Shooting at night as it adds to the suspense with a girl being home alone. A knife a s a weapon and adding in more mystery as we cant see his face and its at night time. 

I think the idea we choose from my list where the best choices because the others may be too long and need to much detail which might exceed the limit of a 2 minute film.
